Downtown School PTA Membership Registration & Learning Experience donation.

Step 1 of 3 - STUDENT INFORMATION

The DTS PTA collects two annual payments at the start of each school year. The DTS PTA will not ask you to participate in parent fundraisers throughout the year such as pizza, wrapping paper, and cookie dough sales.
- Student Learning Experience: The PTA collects an annual donation per student on behalf of The Downtown School. 100% of this fee is given to the school to support field trips (including bussing and entrance fees) and experiences connected to classroom curriculum. The Student Activity Fee is a suggested donation of $15 per student.
- PTA Membership: This fee allows us to plan community building events for all DTS families throughout the year. It also provides a DTS T-shirt for each new DTS student so they can show their pride on the first day. The Downtown School does not receive a building budget from DMPS for family events. Membership (which does not require meeting attendance) is $10 per family

Downtown School Auction

The PTA hosts a social event for parents, teachers and friends of DTS in the form of a night out and auction every other year… and this is the year! Proceeds raised from the auction go to support large, transformative items and programming for DTS that would otherwise not be possible. Previous auction proceeds have provided things such as all new furniture in the DTS library and critical training to ALL teachers on the all-important project-based learning curriculum that is core to the educational experience for our kids. In order to meet our fundraising goal, we need your help!
